By using the link-global Website you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Use.
If you are in any doubt as to how the Terms of Use may affect you then you should take legal advice before continuing to use the Website.
We may amend the Terms of Use from time to time without notice or liability to you. By continuing to use the Website following such amendments to the Terms of Use, you agree to be bound by such amendments.
We may at any time, without notice to you, add to, amend or remove any information from the Website, or alter the presentation, substance, or functionality of the Website.
(a) Individual Users
Subject to your compliance with these Terms of Use we shall provide on requisite payment having been received in advance each lesson selected by you for use by you online for a period of 12 months excluding the day of payment. During that time you will have online access to the lesson(s) for which you have paid. Any lesson may be renewed at the end of any period of 12 months subject to you making the requisite payment for another 12 months in advance.
The appropriate fee to purchase a particular lesson and the period for which you will be able to access it online will always be that shown on our ‘Lessons’ webpage in the section ‘Lessons Purchased’. The fee paid and period of access allowed will be that shown on the date of purchase. We may however increase the fee for each lesson or any particular lesson at any time without individual notice to you. We may also increase or decrease the period of 12 months at any time without individual notice to you.
(b) Group Users
Subject to your compliance with these Terms of Use we shall provide on requisite payment having been received in advance lesson credits. The lesson credits will be available for use for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase after which they will be deleted from your account. During that period we shall provide to users logging in through your account, access as individual users to each lesson selected by them for use by them online for a period of 12 months excluding the day of selection of the lesson. Each lesson so selected will be debited at the time of selection against the lesson credits for which you have paid. You will be notified by email when your lesson credits have nearly expired either by usage or time.
The appropriate fee to purchase lesson credits will be that shown on the Group Access List Page available to you after Registration. The period for which each lesson can be accessed online will always be that shown on our ‘Lessons’ webpage in the section ‘Lessons Purchased’. The fee paid and period of access allowed will be that shown on the date of purchase. We may however increase the fee for each lesson or any particular lesson at any time without individual notice to you. We may also increase or decrease the period of 12 months at any time without individual notice to you. Any such changes will not apply to lesson credits already purchased by you.
Access to the information contained on the link-global Website is provided on payment by you for your own personal use only. You have no rights in or to that information and you will not use the information in any manner or for any other purpose apart from personally learning your chosen language online.
Therefore as a condition of your use of the Website, you must not:
- trespass, break into, access, use or attempt to trespass, break into, access or use any other parts of our servers, and/or any data areas for which you have not been authorised by us;
- restrict or inhibit any other legitimate user from using and enjoying the Website;
- post, publish, transmit, reproduce or attempt to reproduce or copy, distribute or attempt to distribute or copy or in any way or exploit any information obtained through the Website for any purpose whatsoever; or
- upload, post, publish, transmit, reproduce, or distribute in any way, information obtained through the Website which is protected by copyright, or other proprietary right, or create derivative works with respect thereto, without the prior written permission of the copyright owner or holder of the right.
We reserve the right at all times to prohibit or deny you access to the Website or any part thereof immediately and without notice, where we are of the opinion that you have breached any of the terms contained in the Terms of Use or that in our view such prohibition or denial is appropriate, desirable or necessary.
Information contained on the Website may contain information either provided by third party service providers or sourced by link-global from other references or sources. The information on the Website may not be regarded as any recommendation or endorsement by link-global for any purpose with respect to any person, product or service.
Link-global is not responsible for the reliability of any such information; link-global does not separately verify such information. Thus we do not accept any responsibility whatsoever in respect of such information. Any use of and reliance on such information is at your own risk.
The links on the Website may take you to other sites and you acknowledge and agree that link-global and link-global affiliates have no responsibility for the accuracy or availability of any information provided by linked websites.
Links to other websites do not constitute an endorsement by link-global of such websites or the information, products, advertising or other materials available on those websites.
You agree to indemnify link-global and its affiliates against all liabilities, damages, claims, actions, costs and expenses (including without limitation legal fees), in connection with or arising from any breach by you of any of these Terms of Use and / or your use of the Website. We may, if we so chose, participate in the defence of any claim or action and any negotiations for settlement. No settlement which may adversely affect our rights or obligations shall be made without our prior written approval. We reserve the right, at our own expense and on written notice to you, to assume exclusive defence and control of any claim or action.
All intellectual property rights subsisting in respect of the Website belong to link-global or have been lawfully licensed to link-global for use on the Website. All rights under applicable laws are hereby reserved. Except with the express permission of link-global, you are not allowed to upload, post, publish, reproduce, transmit or distribute in any way any component of the website itself or create derivative works with respect thereto, as the website is copyrighted under applicable laws.
You agree that we are free to use, disclose, adopt and modify all and any ideas, concepts, academic and practical skills (i.e. know-how), proposals, suggestions, comments and other communications and information provided by you to us ("feedback") in connection with the website and/or services without any payment to you. You hereby waive and agree to waive all and any rights and claims for any consideration, fees, royalties, charges and/or other payments in relation to our use, disclosure, adoption and/or modification of any or all of your feedback.
Neither link-global nor any of the link-global affiliates guarantee or assume any responsibility that:-
(a) your use of the information on the website will enable you to speak or write or understand the language you have chosen to learn.
(b) the information on the website is accurate, adequate, current or reliable;
(c) the information on the website is free of defect, error, omission, virus or anything which may change, erase, add to or damage your software, data or equipment;

(e) access to the website will be available or be uninterrupted; or defects in the website will be corrected.
In no event or circumstances save as set out below will link-global or its affiliates be liable to extend any service paid for by you, or pay to you or any other person any money or monies by way of refund or compensation of any kind in respect of any direct or consequential loss, including any loss of business or profit, suffered as a result of your use or inability to use the link-global Website.
Should our website is inaccessible for more than 24 consecutive hours through problems with our server we shall extend the period of each lesson by a day for each full period of 24 hours so lost.
You will exercise and rely solely on your own skill and judgment in your use and interpretation of the information. You are responsible to ensure that your use of the information complies with all applicable legal requirements.
Our Privacy Policies are set out in a separate document on our Website. You agree to the use and disclosure of your information in the manner set out in our Privacy Policy (as updated from time to time). For information on our use of server sessions, please also refer to paragraph 5 of our Privacy Policy.
The illegality, invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Terms of Use under the law of any jurisdiction shall not affect its legality, validity or enforceability under the laws of any other jurisdiction nor the legality, validity or enforceability of any other provision.
If there are two or more persons adhering to these Terms of Use as user, their rights are joint but their liability under the Terms of Use is joint and several.
No waiver of any breach under these Terms of Use will amount to a waiver of any other breach. The headings in these Terms of Use are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.
We may, in our sole discretion and at any time, without prior notice to you and without cause, terminate all or any part of our services to you and consequentially prohibit your right to access to the information available on our Website without liability to you in respect of any loss that may result by that termination.
Please note that if there is any conflict between a version of our Terms of Use in any language other than English and this English version, the English version shall prevail.
The words used in these Terms of Use shall be interpreted as follows by reference to the definitions given below:
‘day’ ‘days’ – all days of the week including every Saturday and Sunday and each day shall be calculated from or to midnight of the relevant date
‘information’ – all lesson content including factual information and, information based on opinion, information, data, analysis, news, reports, programmes, photographs, pictures, graphics, video, audio, software and other materials and services, communications, transmissions and other items, tangible or intangible
‘personal data’ - personally identifying information or sensitive data (including but not limited to names, ages, addresses, occupations, contacts, other personal details and credit card information)
‘services’ - services include lessons and such other products and services as may be offered from time to time on the website
‘link global’ ‘we’, ‘our’ or ‘us’ – link-global ltd which includes link-global.com and any successors in title.
‘link-global affiliates’, ‘our affiliates’ - link-global’s agents or licensors, and their respective agents, officers, affiliates and employees
‘person’ – any individual or corporate entity acting through their employees and agents including any individual who is in business on their own account or companies or organisations or institutions who are not incorporated under any relevant law.
‘Terms of Use’ - the terms of use set out above as amended from time to time
‘Third Party Provider’ - any provider of information or services on the website other than link-global
‘users’, ‘you’ or ‘your’ - any ‘person’ as defined above who accesses the website

Our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use are governed by English law. All disputes arising out of your access to link-global’s website are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts. If any of these terms are deemed invalid or unenforceable for any reason (including, but not limited to the exclusions and limitations set out above) then the invalid or unenforceable provision will be severed from these terms and the remaining terms will continue to apply.
